Family Reunion - Dude Ranch

It's almost time for the Hoffman Family Reunion. I was in charge of the plans last year. We spent an April weekend in Bandera, Texas. We have a spiral notebook in which we record the reunion highlights. I used my Silhouette to fancy up my contribution. Thought I would share the results.

Freckles was a cantankerous appaloosa that caused issues for the inexperienced trail rider. He tailgated the horse in front of him - totally ignoring the 6-foot spacing rule. When he was able to catch up to the horse in front of him, he would nip its hiney. Consequently the unhappy horse would try to buck its rider. Freckles was the topic of much conversation.

Here is my May swap card for Scrapp'n Savvy. The paper collection for this swap was The Adventures of . . . When I first saw it this line of paper, I was totally stumped. My first thought for the card was camping, but I just wasn't happy with it. I was over at the Scrapp'n Savvy with my daughter a couple of weeks ago and pointed the paper out to her. Animae Birthday Card

Here is a card I put together for my son's birthday.  I used a digi stamp of Kamijou Touma. I colored the image with Copics. I used a sheet of paper which broke down when I embossed it with a Darice embossing folder called "Steam Punk". The centers turned into perforated circles which fell out after embossing. I decided to go with it and embellished accordingly.

This is only quote that I could locate that could possibly be used on a birthday card.
