Double Pocket Dragonfly

I was cleaning up a stack of old paper crafting magazines, when I found this fold. I added two tags with friendship sentiments and a dragonfly. Directions for the fold are at the end of this post.

Diagonal Folded Double Pocket

1. Cut a 7 ½ x 10 ½ in. piece of paper.

2. Fold in half lengthwise.

3. Fold in half crosswise.

4. Fold both lower corners up to the center fold line.  Trim off the left flap along the fold line.

 5. With the cut corner on the lower left side, fold right flap up; fold bottom half of paper up at crosswise fold; fold left side behind right side.

 6. Only one pocket is made at this point. Measure ¾ in. from top and bottom of pocket; score between these marks. (You will need to open paper up flat to score this.)

7. Refold paper step 5. This time fold upper right corner back, making the second fold.

8. Add score tape at the bottom and lower right side to form a pocket.
