Santa's Six-Fold Card

Here is an a-symmetrical fold. I found it very easy to decorate. Directions to cut this fold are included at the bottom of this blog post. Check out the pics to see what is under this belly band.

6-Fold Card

  1. Cut an 8" x 12" piece of paper.

      2. Score at 4” and 8” on the 12” side.

      3.   Turn and score at 2” and 6”.

      4.   Using the trimmer, remove top right and bottom right rectangles.

        5. Using the trimmer, cut diagonally the top square, removing a triangle-shaped piece. Also, make the same cut on the bottom square. (The bottom triangle is still attached.)

       6. Trim the top left rectangle to score line and bottom left rectangle to score line; 2 flaps formed.

      7. Cut both of these flaps in half.

      8. You are now ready to make your 6 folds. Fold in 2 small squares. (That counts as 2 folds.) Then fold this same piece up. Fold top rectangular section down. Fold 2 triangular pieces toward center.

      9. Decorate and Done!

  2. Wowzer Sharon! What a great fold on this project! And thanks for the tutorial - I printed it out for someday when I feel the energy to try it - LOL! A lot of measuring required, especially for the DP layering... which you executed beautifully! Thank you for sharing your project and creativity with us at Aud Sentiments for our Christmas challenge!
