Butterfly - Night and Day

Card and Envelope
I was so excited that the Stamp TV challenge this week is black/white. I love working with these colors and enjoy looking at other black/white projects. They always catch my attention! I used a Sketch 'n Scrap sketch to double up on challenges.
Birthday Bash Sketch #2
You are looking at lots of layers - 8 at the thickest part. This card feels really sturdy in my hands.
I grabbed a pad of black/white patterned paper that I had to dig out from the depths of the closet. I took each section of the sketch and worked within it. To make the butterfly, I stamped two - one in Moonlit Fog and one in Tuxedo Black. Each is fussy cut, then placed one on top of the other, placed in the trimmer, and cut in half. The leftover halves are on the inside of the card.

For the envelope, I used the MISTI to stamp it by inking it up only half at a time - a two-step process.

  1. Great card design. So beautiful! I am hoping I can join in as well, but if not I will just enjoy seeing all the beauties others make.

  2. Really cool design. You might think black and white would be boring, but not with this card! I really like the stickers, too.
