Framed Apple Blossom

What better frame for an apple blossom than an apple?

For this card I used a Spellbinders Nested Apples die to emboss. The Big Shot sandwich:
  1. Platform on 1
  2. Cutting Plate
  3. Rubber Gasket
  4. Card stock - Picture facing down
  5. Apple die - cutting side away from card stock (if cutting side is placed next to card stock, the embossed border will be thin)
  6. Cutting Plate
I fussy cut the apple using the outside of the embossing as a guide.

Daisy Duo

This card is considered a "simple" card. I tried my best to keep it simple, but these types of cards are not my style. I simply couldn't keep myself from distressing, dry embossing, punching, and stamping. This is as simplistic as I get.

Birthday Pawns

Here is a masculine card. I used the Die-namics Blueprint #5 to die-cut the rows of pawns. The sentiment is from one of Gina K's new sets called: "Massive Messages".

The little "knobs" on this card are probably intended to be the top of a crown. But for me, I immediately thought of pawns. In case you may not be familiar with the game of Chess, I should tell you that a pawn is a Chess piece that looks like this:
They are lined up 8 across for each player when the game begins. Maybe the inside sentiment should be "It's your move."
