Apples in a Row

I'm putting together a set of autumn-themed birthday cards. I decided to use the Tim Holtz die cut called "chevron". It leaves room for using several different solid and pattern papers.

I needed to cut several papers in order to fill some of the chevron. Because of this I ended up using red, brown, and green solids. I also chose one pattered paper for each card.

I used my Copics to color the apples from the Gina K (Stamp TV) set called "Simple Things", pop dotted one random apple, and used a gold gel pen to add sparkle to the pop dotted apple. Elizabeth Craft gold stickers were added to some of the chevrons.

As usual the inside of the card is inspired by the scraps left on my craft table. I used part of the leftover chevron from the pattern paper as well as an apple stamped in red rather than black. The "happy birthday" is from the birthday set by Red Rubber Designs.
