Wanted to make a birthday gift card holder today. I was going to get out some NEW paper, but my "Fairie Dust" scraps from Graphic 45 were sitting on top. I decided this was the perfect time to use up some scraps.
The ribbon isn't necessary to hold the gift card on the tag, but it looks nice there.
I counted myself lucky to have a bit of ephemera that had a sentiment regarding wishes to compliment the front of the card. I die cut stamps and popped the centers.
Materials:
Patterned Paper: Graphic 45 - Fairie Dust - Dreamland
Violet Vale
Tiny Toadstools
Magic Wishes
This sketch from Sketch N Scrap was just what I needed to couple with a Stamps of Life tag/gift card holder die that I had. I have to mention the new Graphic 45 die that I used to make this flower. If you are looking for a die to make beautiful flowers to go with patterned paper - this is just the ticket! I love the way it looks inked up. There are 4 sizes of flowers in this die to stack/group as you please. I used my flower shaping kit and WOW - I loved the way they shape up. The metallic brad in the center is a great addition.
These Pixie Sprites are on the back of the tag.
