I think my daughter is going to be very excited about this layout. She dumped a stack of pics on my iPhone and asked me to scrapbook them. This set of pics are all of my granddaughter with her friends at the daycare.
There is one pic on this layout that I got a kick out of. The one where she is getting her hair done by her little friend. Now my granddaughter has never had a haircut, in fact has never been in a hair salon. She would know nothing about it and yet here she is in a chair with a "cape" and her little friend is pretending to fix her hair.
For the title I found the word "friends" in a Silhouette file. I added the word "forever" using one of my favorite fonts - Bubble and Brew. (If you put "Bubble and Brew" in the search engine on the right, there is no telling how many times it will come up on this blog.) I then placed them together and created a navy mat.
I'd be negligent if I didn't say that I got in my embellishment drawers and looked for flowers to put on this layout. I was thinking it might even need balloons, But when I stumbled on this double heart die, I then dug out all of my heart dies and was happy with the way they added to the friendship theme.
All of the white card stock is done with a pearlescent white paper that shimmers in the light. The flourishes are from an old Burniston die and the scalloped hearts are 2012. I love using the dies I have amassed.
Lili of the Vally stamps are some of my absolute favorites. I have quite a collection. These ragamuffin girls are just the cutest. I am a huge proponent of "cartoonish" pics amongst the real ones on a layout. I love that contrast.

This layout was created using the sketch of Lisa Hidy of Sketch N Scrap. I was more than a little excited when I first saw this sketch. It has a fun display of background papers. There is nothing more disappointing than to have a brand new collection of paper and a sketch that offers no opportunity to cut into several of the patterns.
