Homemade Pizza

Making homemade pizza can be a family affair. Brooklyn and her daddy made very cheesy pizza together. I used La La Land Crafts Marci with Pizza to document the occasion.

I chose my patterned papers first and colored Marci and her little friends to match the colors in the paper. I usually take the patterned paper and note one Copic color match for each color in the paper. Then I sit down to color.

I wanted to try to get all of the dies that came with Mari on the layout as well. When I die cut these cheese blocks, I had no idea how I could use them. They ended up making great back drops for each of the characters.

The title is made using my Cameo Silhouette. This one is kinda simple, but I was pretty happy with it.

There was quite a bit of work that went into the pizza paddle. Unfortunately you can't really see what was done. I placed two equally spaced score lines down the paddle. I then took a pad of white pigment ink and drug ii down the paddle. Next I dragged a pad of dark brown ink over that. It makes the wood look weathered.  I am going to include a chart of the card stock and ink I used in making this pizza. I am going to put the chart here so that the next time I want to make this pizza, I will have all of the information to do it. I really like the way this turned out, and would probably do the same way again.
