Christmas Moose

Here is a quick little card. I wanted to use my new Stampin Up moose punch. This paper is quite a few years old. I got this 6 x 6 pad in a Gina K card making kit. I trimmed this border and added the three cardinals.

The cardinals and the birch trees are from a Lawn Fawn die. The sentiment is from a Karen Burniston die.

Baby Grand Christmas

This card was commissioned by my husband for his piano teacher. Yes, Huey is taking piano lessons. I have always wanted to make a card shaped like a grand piano.

I started with a Silhouette piano card file. After assembling the piano, I used this sketch from Sketch N Scrap by Heather Hall to decorate the top of the piano.

This poinsettia die is one of my all time favorites. I used two of the petals to make the gold leaves. I particularly like this gold metallic paper from Paper Mill. Two of my cropping buddies split a pack three ways this summer. I popped the cellophane on it for this project.

I used a stamp set from Recollections for the sheet music for Away in a Manger. Huey is going to slip a Texas Roadhouse Gift Card inside and present it at his next lesson.

Food + Fun = Family

I know this is kind of an odd topic for a scrapbook page. I took these pics at the grocery store as we watched the food for a 3-day RV trip with the grandchildren to Jellystone Park go through the checkout. When I looked at these items coming down the conveyor belt, I thought we never buy this kind of stuff - hot dogs, pizza rolls, taquitos, pizza, ham/cheese croissants, sausage/pancake breakfast sandwiches, tater tots, Rice Krispies Treats, Cake in a Mug, etc, etc, etc.

I turned the sketch on its side to accommodate pic of the receipt.

This Authentique paper collection is perfect for the Jellystone layouts, but it is long ago retired and hard to find. I had some leftovers, which I used for this page. Anything with picnicking as a theme is perfect for Yogi Bear.
