Cheers

     I am enjoying a new wine cart that I got for Valentines' Day. It is hard to see this in the picture. It holds 21 bottles of wine, has 2 towel racks and a glass top. I decided to make a card as a table-top accent.

     This card is made using Theresa Momber's "French Flair" stamp set. The background is stamped with the large grape leaf and "Bonjour" randomly. I cut the card down to accommodate the "Trellis" binding, so it is still an A-2 card. Not sure what the green paper is, but the other is BoBunny's Double Dot - Dusty Rose.

2 Color Wings

     I took a Copic coloring class Friday. We worked on coloring butterfly wings using two markers. Some were done with monochromatic colors and some with complementary colors. I tried applying the technique to dragonfly wings. Here are 4 of my attempts. Two are monochromatic and two are complementary.

     I chose the one in blue violet to make a birthday card.

 

     The stamp set here is Theresa Momber's "The Wetlands". I used a Darice embossing folder called "Grass Silhouette". The flower is from an Elizabeth Craft die set called "Bunch of Flowers 2"

Watercolor Pickup

     I love the old postcard fibe I get from this card. I'm still practicing my watercolor stamping with Tim Holtz Distress Markers. For this card I used Theresa Momber's "Country Roads" that I purchased two years ago. The paper looks torn as I used torn Post-Its to mask the edges. The perfect masculine birthday card.
