Boxed Sunflowers

This card was made for a "no adhesives" challenge. At first I thought it would be pretty much impossible. It ended up being a chance to get out tools I rarely use.
I started by stamping 3 identical sunflowers on sweet corn CS and adding shading with Copics Y26,28. I trimmed two pieces of acetate and formed three pockets using the Fuse, each containing a sunflower and brown confetti. The frame is made from brown art foam. Tan brads through all of the layers holds it all in place.

I was unhappy with the backs of the 8 brads showing on the inside of the card. I stamped 3 sunflowers on a piece of powder blue CS and hand-stitched it to the inside of the card. This card fits perfectly into a business size envelope.

Loopy Ladybug

This is a slider/spinner card. I used a small track, so it is hard to see behind the ladybug. I have made this ladybug many times (Lovely Ladybug, by Beth Silaika), but it is the first time I have given it a lacy body. She looks pretty fancy. She is matted onto a circle of flowers (Happy Birthday to You, by Gina K).

The paper and ink are Gina K products: Red Velvet, Fresh Asparagus, and Powder Blue. The patterned paper is from the Floral Essentials collection.
For embellies I add a knotted organza ribbon; and of course -- two shiny pennies for the spinning mechanism.

Spotlight on Daffodils

I'm trying a technique that I have seen many times, but never attempted myself. It isn't hard and is definitely self-explanatory.
The stamp used for this set is from Gina K's "Sending Love". I popped it onto Carta Bella paper (Old World Travel) and matted it on Gina K's "Prickly Pear". The image was stamped using Tuxedo Black and distressed with Vintage Photo. The embellishments are four tan brads that were amazingly close in color to the Prickly Pear CS.

I used Copics to color the image: Y04,08,38. YG25,67.

Joy Fold Autumn Gift Card Holder

For this card I took the directions for the Joy Fold card - made it square and added a gift card pocket.

      To make the card base, cut 4 1/4 x 6 1/4, score at 4 1/4 and cut 3 x 6, score at 3.
The paper is from Gina K's Autumn Wishes and matted with Honey Mustard and Fresh Asparagus. The circles are die cut from Our Daily Bread's "Stitched Circles". The fall leaves punch is from ek. I used a 1 1/2" circle punch to make the pocket for the gift card. The embellishments include a wood maple leaf, green twine, edge punch poop, and gold Sakura gel pen.
I stamped the sentiment using Gina K's "Bounty of Blessings".

Woodland Foil

This is the first card made in my new craft room in my new house.

Unfortunately my laminator and Minc are still in storage. I raided the kitchen pantry for these cards.
I wrapped a piece of cardstock with foil (dull side out). I ran the entire thing plus a Sizzix embossing folder, through the Big Shot. The card on the right is using the negative side of the embossing folder. I then rubbed antique gold metallic paint over the foil. It left the embossing clean to give an etched look. I used the Silhouette to create and cut white and black ovals to fit exactly on the embossed frame.
Couldn't decide which one I like the best, so I posted them both. Which one do you prefer?
